TOPLOU NORDIC AS

The company was established Q2 in 2016 and holds exclusive marketing and sales rights for the renowned brand Toplou in the Nordic countries. The headquarter is  placed in Stavanger.

GREEK QUALITY FOOD, WINE AND TRAVEL

The brand Toplou includes tourism, high quality olive oil, honey and wine. The products are cultivated, produced, and bottled in Crete, and meets the high demands of international food standards. The monastery itself is a popular travel destination, with theme travels to the church, museums, and wine tours.

TOPLOU MONASTERY

Throughout history it has been cultivated vines and olives on the surrounding areas, but only the last 30 years with commercial purposes. Toplou manage a premium quality honey label from a regional producer. Wine, extra virgin olive oil and honey is exported to Germany, China, Canada, Austria, and the US with an increasing global demand. The products are also sold in parts of Greece.

POTENTIAL

Bio Sitia SA and Toplou Estate SA are the formal companies behind the Toplou Monastery which owns vast areas of enormous values. This includes 4000 hectares of several thousand olive trees and a large vineyard. Toplou has two large production facilities, for wine and olive oil, and a wine cellar on the property. Now they are looking into expansion, by implementing extensions, and invest in new facilities. They are also looking towards travel and recreation.

The philosophy of Toplou is based on ecological balance, a passion for their craftsmanship, and natural organic products. Every detail is carefully planned, from the land and its preparation, the varieties that match the characteristics of each area, the soil and its humidity, composting and production. Toplou collaborates with selected farmers which creates work positions and global opportunities in the region.
